Tippecanoe River near Ora affecting Pulaski County.

Saint Joseph River Ohio near Newville affecting Allen IN, Defiance and De Kalb Counties.

Saint Joseph River Ohio below Montpelier affecting Williams County.

Tiffin River at Stryker affecting Fulton OH, Defiance and Williams Counties.

North Branch Elkhart River at Cosperville affecting Noble County.

.Excessive runoff from recent heavy rainfall continues to cause Minor to Moderate flooding on many rivers across the area. Additional heavy rain in the coming days could exacerbate the flooding.

For the Tippecanoe River...including Ora, Winamac, Norway Dam... Minor flooding is forecast. For the Saint Joseph River Ohio...including Montpelier, Newville, St. Joe River Ft. Wayne...Moderate flooding is forecast. For the Tiffin River...including Stryker...Minor flooding is forecast. For the Elkhart River...including Goshen, Cosperville...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Saint Joseph River Ohio near Newville.

* WHEN...From Thursday evening until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Significant flooding occurs on DeKalb County Road 42 about 3 miles northeast of Newville. Considerable agricultural and low land flooding occurs along the St. Joseph River to the Cedarville Reservoir.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:25 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 8.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late Thursday evening and continue rising to a crest of 14.4 feet Saturday evening.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

Instructions

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.
