* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Saint Joseph River Ohio near Newville.

* WHEN...Until early Thursday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Significant flooding occurs on DeKalb County Road 42 about 3 miles northeast of Newville. Considerable agricultural and low land flooding occurs along the St. Joseph River to the Cedarville Reservoir.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:10 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.6 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 11:10 AM EDT Sunday was 13.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.7 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage early Wednesday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.
